Tulsa City County Library

    |     City: Tulsa, Oklahoma    |     Designed by: MSR

The MSR company was in charge of renovating the Tulsa City County library. The design team focused on 3 objectives: renovating the urban center, responding to the needs of the 21st century and positively impacting users, the community and the environment.

In one of the reading areas, and in order to achieve a more welcoming space, they included a cylindrical space divider made with anodized aluminum links, where green, yellow and blue tones predominate.

Thanks to this solution, designers have a versatile alternative to create independent atmospheres, open spaces that generate a sense of privacy, but are not interrupted by walls. In addition, due to the transparency of the metal mesh, natural light is better used.
